According to the income calculator I belong to the upper income tier in the state of New Jersey mainly because of the annual income and the number of members in my family, the upper income tier makes up of 25 percent of New Jersey population.
On a global level my family also belong to the high income group with a house hold income of more than 100 dollar a day per person and along with the other 55.7 percent of American population. This is a sizable group of the population in the United States and in the world.

I was very shocked that I was middle class on the income calculator, but it made me realize that even when we are middle class we still feel poor.
