The primary reason for social inequality is poverty, lack of education, low income, criminal history and drug addiction. A number of collective reasons are behind the reason why social inequality is on the rise. Lack of government intervention and budget cuts leads to social welfare programs to lag behind and lead to social decay in the community.
In the post economic crisis of 2008 budget deficits and cash crunch lead to social welfare programs to lag behind. A stagnant minimum wage and lack of jobs especially when the rate of inflation was steady.

Lack of government is definitely a problem in the country today. It is a shame that social inequality exists especially in such large numbers.
ReplyDeleteI agree there are many reasons for social inequality and it comes from the fact that since man has walked the earth their has always been a group that has been looked at as superior to another and even though times have change peoples mentalities have remained the same and as long as one group is said to be superior to another due to color we will always have social inequality.
